Friday

And I’m not going to work.

I’d been planning all along to make this a long weekend and take Friday and Monday off. I’m glad I did — I can use a couple of days off.

St. Moritz

Still didn’t do hardly any work on St. Moritz. See?

stmoritz may01 Friday

I spent a fair amount of time looking for my 32″ size 4 needle last night because I need it for the colorwork in St. Moritz. I . . . uh . . . found it in my knitting bag. Where I put it for easy access.

So now I can start the colorwork. 🙂

Maryland Sheep and Wool

It’s this weekend. Like you didn’t know. It’s supposed to be rainy and 59 degrees on Saturday, cloudy and low 60s on Sunday. Could be worse. Could be in the 90s!

I have a date with some shelter kitties on Saturday but may well show up at MDS&W on Sunday.

Have a good weekend everyone. And thanks for your continued comments and emails about Izzy.

May Day

izzyflowers May Day

This lovely basket of plants was sent to me by the ever thoughtful Lindsey-Brooke, in Izzy’s memory.

Izzy would have been thrilled with this basket. I was never able to have a living plant at home with her. She destroyed plants and flowers thoroughly, systematically, and with great joy.

So I’m thinking these plants are a nice tribute to her. They are on the table next to the window where she loved to sit and look out. Perhaps her little spirit will enjoy them.

In answer to your inquiries, I will at some point put up an “Izzy Gallery Page.” All her photos will remain on this site.

St. Moritz

Here are my progress pix on St. Moritz.

I’m about an inch away from startin the pattern chart on the body. And I also have a bit of a sleeve done as well.
