Another crazed day at the office yesterday, but I made durn sure to leave on time. I had to stop at the grocery store on the way home to replenish Lucy’s supply of Fancy Feast, because if we were to run out, well, that simply would not do.
Hey! Today is Hallowe’en. I just thought of that. Duh . . .
Every year on Hallowe’en the children in our daycare center at work wear their costumes and have a parade. Today it’s at 10:30 this morning, being held in the Great Hall. In years past they used to parade through the halls of the building and everyone came out of their offices to watch. We could give them candy then, but that was a more innocent time.
I must try to get down there for the parade. Some of those kids are so cute in their widdle costumes . . .
Hmmm, I wonder if Lucy would like to dress up as a fairy princess for Hallowe’en tonight? I’m thinking probably not.
But I could dress up like a fairy princess if I wanted because . . .
I finished it!

What’s great about kiddies and costumes is that they really KNOW they are cute in their costumes! Everyone of them usually has a big smile on their proud faces (my former workplace used to have a Halloween parade too…).

Beautiful PiS pullover. That particular one, as a cardigan, is on my must-make-it-someday list. I looking forward to watching your progress with Amphora. I have this kit, but it’ll be a little while before I get at it (I have 5 sweaters on the go now, in various stages of completion). Sorry I didn’t get mice to you… only had time to complete one… unless you can use just one more!

Woo Hoo! I have loved watching the progress on PiS – it looks beautiful! I was always afraid of doing Icord within a garment, but now maybe I will try it.
It looks AWESOME! I can’t believe how cool it looks — I have to say I wasn’t sold on some of the colors you used BUT your brilliance obviously knew the end product would be great. Go grrl! :^)
