No Apologies

In my current mode of Bad-Ass Knitter, Make No Apologies, I present to you something you have never seen before on this blog.

Wait for it . . .

Presenting . . .

(Are you still reading?)

Knitted dishcloths!

Knitted here and there over the past few months in various stitch patterns and various cottons. Don’t remember what is what, as my brain is turning to mush faster than a tissue dropped in warm water. Hee-yuck!

But there you have it. Proof that Bad-Ass Knitters knit dishcloths!

Guess where I spent the day?

At Knit Happens!

I was tough — I forced Kristine to rip out half the back of Grace because of a cable faux pas. When she was done, she was exhausted!

And I (cough cough) bought a mess o’ Noro Hana Silk in fuschia to knit a tank.

And I knitted on Liam.

And when I got home. Lucy said “Where the hell have you been all day?”

Hi Wendy ! The Hana silk is gergorous. I love the colour. Looking forward to see your Luxury silk tank soon.

When I back to home after work, my dog ME ME always ask the same question to me ><

Confused on the pattern “Grace” that had a cable goof.I thought Grace was a non-cable top pattern in the current Knitty. Am I forgetting another design of the same name?

I like the proof that “Bad-Ass Knitters” knit whatever the hell they want. It made me smile to think of the exalted (wink) Wendy who knits the most complicated things with ease, banging out some dishcloths. Maybe you really aren’t some alien who came to earth to show us knitters how it’s done cause I tell you, sometimes I think your knitting speed borders on in-human! (grin)

Glad your server is back up, Wendy. I know it was down for over 12 hours today!

Liam is looking good! Wendy, do you always design your own patterns? You do a great job at it. I’d love to be able to do that one day. I just don’t have the confidence yet.

What, no turned-back ears from Lucy for your tardiness? My furry girl always gives me turned-back ears so I don’t miss her pointed displeasure. Which she forgives as soon as she sees the cans of cat food.

  7. Kristine

It is true, Wendy made me rrrriiiippppp! 87 rows, not that I am, or was, counting or anything. Ah, tough knitterly love, is there anything like it? ;)

  8. froggy

Nice colors on the cloths and Kristine is too funny! I gotta get by there more often.

  9. L-B

Wow! Looks like the jelly beans have been popular!

Okay, let me just say, I feel for you Kristine!
Wenday, AMAZING work…maybe I would spend more time in the kitchen if I had such pretty dishcloths =)

    Wendy,

I stop by quite often, have been for years, am painting so much that I can hardly squeeze in this never ending (babysweater, don’t laugh) so just seeing your progress, laughing at you wit and sarcasm and seeing that Lucy very very cute today makes me stay connected to the knitting world. THANKS!

    Wendy,

I think this pic of de Ketzele Lucy is my favorite of all times. Make this one into a poster!! Actually you coud do a “Faces of Lucy” poster or knitting bag or “Lucy Moods” perhaps.
    enjoy the summer! d.
