First FO of ’05
And here it is:
My Sonata Gloves, knitted with 1.5 skeins of Koigu KPPPM, on size US 0 needles. I finished the second glove yesterday evening.
We had a nice New Years’ Eve celebration, complete with Kir Royales:
Lucy had a nice long nap on her daddy’s lap.
This afternoon I plied about a pound of my Corriedale singles.
Then I gave it a bath.
Such excitement, no?
Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I’ll go knit on my Lucy sweater.
Oh . . . why the blog title “Black Sunday?” Today is my birthday.

I’m sure you must have answered this question before, but it’s not in your FAQs and I really want to know–which spindle do you like best, AND how did you decide which spinning wheels to purchase? I’ve been spindling for about 6 weeks now and love it, but I’m sure I’ll get a wheel maybe in the next year or so. I have a Bosworth midi spindle which I am enjoying but I’d like a heavier and lighter spindle too. Any advice? Should I stick with Bosworth? How do you like your Golding?
