November!

I am beyond happy now that we’ve reached November, one of my favorite months. I’ve usually got a lot of fun things going on in November, so I always look forward to it.

We had a quiet Halloween: watched the new Indiana Jones movie (something or other with a crystal skull — too lazy to look up the exact name of the movie) and I sucked it up and knit the neckband and the front bands on my sweater — see?

That’s one heck of a lot of picking up of stitches for one night, and my hands were quite happy when I was done.

I had finished the first sleeve on Friday’s commute home:

Today I sewed the first sleeve into an armhole.

I’m now working on the second sleeve and expect to have that completed in the couple of days.

Reading and Knitting

A few of you asked how I manage to knit and read at the same time. Let me direct you to this blog post, from March 1, 2007.
