The Holiday Antidote

A nice big fruit salad. Ahhhh! A welcome change from cookies and candy.

And here, for no reason whatsoever, a photo I took a few days ago in the late afternoon.

Like I said, no reason, except I like the light.

I’m still working on un-bloggable things, but hopefully that will change in a few days. Meanwhile Lucy is still on her holiday schedule.

If she were awake, she’d join me in hoping you all had a great holiday!

    Hi Wendy,

It sounds like you had a good holiday. My dog Kobe is still in the same prone state as Lucy, so I think they are having a good holiday as well. I hope you enjoy the fruit salad.

    Wendy,

    The salad looks delicious!

Looks like Lucy’s nap schedule has been maintained despite Momma being home on vacation! She’s quite adaptable.

Ooh – that fruit salad looks refreshing. I just noticed that the diet commercials are starting to advertise fast and furious. Hmmmm. I think I’ll go clean the house of all the remaining goodies.

One of my favorite things to do is sprinkle a lil’ sugar on a fruit bowl and devour the whole thing! ^_^

Ah, Lucy. Such a hardworking kitty! ^_~

  15. Seanna Lea

The fruit salad sounds really nice! Especially because I finished making the chocolate chip cookies and the rum balls yesterday, so I felt like I had a lot of sugar everywhere!

You’ve got me going to the green grocer to make my own treat. Very appropriate after holiday visits with my fruit salad of a family

The fruit salad looks very good — I only wish I liked cantaloupe. My BF does, but we have a hard time finding good ones this time of year. He says the imported ones have no taste. So he’ll be waiting till warmer days.

I hope we’ll get to see pictures of the Un-Bloggables once they’ve been given away!

No better reason for taking a photo! That fruit salad looks so yummy. I’ve been fighting a fierce cold – maybe I can ask SO to go to Whole Foods for fruit for me.

Amen! It was salads for dinner for us tonight. Tastes so good after the sugar coma.
