My current work in progress:

1. Strandwanderer, designed by Lea Viktoria, knit from Wollmeise Merino "Pure" in the "Zenzi" colorway on a 3.25 mm (U.S. size 3) needle.
2. Myriad stealth projects.

Nothing to See Here

Move along now . . .

I’m still working on non-bloggable stuff during my regular knitting time, so I have nothing to share.

Lucy has nothing to say, because she spent a portion of the day doing this:

Then she had her annual check-up at the vet (she did great). Then she looked like this:

Well, she did have a tough day . . .

Comments

  1. It’s a rough life! She deserves a rest!

  2. I love how kitties tuck their heads upside-down when they’re sleeping sometimes. So sweet! It makes the urge to put my hands in their belly fur almost always irresistible.

  3. Am I the only one who can’t always figure out which end is which with Lucy? All that fluff makes it hard to discern where her tops & toes are! S’aright, though – it’s all cute!

  4. I’d like to spend my day sleeping ;)

  5. Sometimes a kitty’s life is rough! I’m so glad her checkup went well. Get some rest Lucy so you can play with your birthday toy later today. Hugs little sweetie!

  6. There’s a whole lot of similar nothing at our house, except it’s mostly large white cat stuffed into a too-small cat bed ;)

  7. Hopefully you’ll be knitting “fun” stuff again soon. I’m plodding along on the Daily Sweater. Glad Lucy’s vet visit was uneventful.

  8. Talk about a fur ball! Which end is up?

Hope the day off is/was enjoyable.

  9. Oh, poor Lucy, none of us like going to the doctor. That last photo made me laugh. I hope tomorrow is more fun for both of you.

  10. Lucy’s day isn’t that far off from mine. I’m really happy to have only gone on a few short walks today and mostly relaxed, though I’m sure that when I’m relaxed I don’t look quite as bendy as Lucy!

  11. Seems to be a blah month for blogging – all projects ongoing and not much progress for me.
    Lucy does “relaxing” very well.

  12. Lucy know how to pace herself so she doesn’t wear out. Glad she got a clean bill of health.

  13. Wow, congratulations on the CPY link! They did it right, too. I saw some copyright info there. Good job.

  14. oh, lookie!
    kitty toe fluff!

  15. Yay for healthy kittehs!

  16. That is so cute. I miss having a cat.

  17. Theresa in Italy says:

Belated Happy Birthday to Lucy and glad she’s got a clean bill of health!

  18. Poor discombobolated Lucy … Mom isn’t knitting, doctor’s poking around where you would rather not be poked. My heart goes out to you, sweet fluffy little lady cat.

  19. I love how she just throws herself around!!!

  20. Must be good to be Lucy. Animals don’t leave their belly exposed unless they are completely sure there’s no danger. By no means implying there would be harm in your home. My beagle was adopted/rescued and after 7 years still won’t sleep belly up.

  21. Vet visits are always tough – but you look like you’re doing the right stuff to “bounce back” Lucy – Congrats on the good checkup!
    (((hugs)))

  22. How wonderful to be a cat (with a good home of course).

  23. Just out of curiosity (I’m a librarian, don’t have a knit shop much as I’d love to!), if the owner had knit a hat using your pattern, took a picture of _her_ hat, bagged it with the yarn and correct needles, and sold it as a kit with the note something like: “Get this wonderful free pattern at Wendy’s website at http whatever ” would that be ok?

  24. My kitty screams the entire way to the vet’s office, the whole time we’re in the waiting area – dogs are very interested, the owners laugh – and the whole way home. The only time he isn’t screaming is when I drag him out of the crate in the office and until he scoots back in. It’s so ridiculous that it’s actually funny. I call people so they can listen to him. I’m surprised he doesn’t have a sore throat. Then when we get home he runs out of the crate and is completely back to normal within seconds. Very odd.

BTW, I love the phrase non-bloggable. I wish I had a blog so I could use it.

  25. What a darling darling kitty! Luv.m.
