To recap, this is the Two-Thirds Shawl (my own design) knit from Handmaiden Mini Maiden in the “Periwinkle” colorway, on 4mm needles. I used approximately 900 yards.

I did indeed finish the Bamboo Socks on Friday.

Wow! That is so amazingly beautiful! I can only dream of creating something so lovely! I’m just getting into lace and my work has so many mistakes I tell my gift recipients to not look too closely. I’m amazed at what a difference pinning and blocking makes! You don’t have a tutorial on that, do you? I’ve never blocked with pins and all. I just wash it, lay it out and hope for the best.

Gorgeous! I love the unusual shape – I think it fixes everything I don’t like about triangle shawls. I’m hoping that you will make the pattern available – please???? Skritches to Lucy…

I’ve never seen a better demo of “pre” and “post” blocking! It really hits home that way. And, wow, is the finished shawl gorgeous! Plus finished socks? Great work!

Hi Wendy, haven’t commented in a while, but the sight of the sheep forced me to. I bought that exact same extra-large and fluffy round sheep for my little son for Easter last year. I felt right at home seeing it on your blog!! ;)
