“If you say so.”
My favorite color!

Doh! I completely misread this – I was thinking, “but what are the *rules*?” I get it now. Nothing to see here, moving along.

Tammy – what kind of jr. stalker are you? – lol
Wendy – beautiful shawl!!!!

It’s always good when we get a cat included for scale 😀 Love the color!

I thought Lucy ruled!
Beautiful shawl! Love the color too
I’m totally in love with the color! Not that I can get any — I just ordered another Zauberball and Loopy’s turquoise Knit Kit thingy.

Love the Lucy Scale in the before pic, but where was she for the after pic?
Don’t ya love blocking? Most of the time, anyway. I made a Traveling Woman shawl out of Casbah Sock (Handmaiden) and blocked it pretty severely. I’m going to have to reblock it to get some of the squishiness back into the yarn.
Yeah, isn’t blocking amazing? I once made a slightly too small cardigan the perfect size, thanks to blocking. But this is beyond amazing – truly spectacular!
Gorgeous! Red seems to keep you warmer in nasty weather, doesn’t it?
Love the red. But how come Lucy wasn’t in the second picture for scale? 🙂

Um … wow? Really, wow!

I love the shape in the before picture, too. How did you get to be such a prolific knitter?
Oh, and thank you for introducing me to the world of Android. I didn’t go out to buy one but to accommodate my older eyes I ended up getting one for the touch screen keyboard.
WOW The shawl just sort of bloomed. Beautiful!
Oooh, stunning! And it looks like it is about to take flight.
THE SHAWL TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL!!! AWESOME!
Hi Wendy & Lucy:
Love the red Shawl….Whoo-Hoo ! ! !
Fancy all that lace coming out of that curly thing! Gorgeous! Why haven’t you blocked Lucy out to make a nice rug for winter- would warm more than your lap!! rofl I don’t need to block Bendy as his fur has grown long enough to be a decent rug already!

I think you should name it Redwing! It is beautiful.
I love your shawls. Argus is going to be my next project. At the rate you are going Wendy, you are going to have enough shawls for a book, even though you say you have said you are not going to do a shawl book! I really think you should. If you did, it would be on my shelf for sure!

You’ve inspired me! Maybe that’s what I’ve been saving my herzblut for. We all need more red in our lives…

Aww, Wendy–you’re killing me! Another beautiful shawl, and I already have two of the recent pattern series, one of which I haven’t knit yet! How many shawls can I knit and give away before my friends revolt?
I do not have carpet and I have tried a bed with no success. Alas I think I will never knit a shawl that is wearable.
Normally I say Girls rule and boys drool, but that doesn’t really apply to blocking.

Since you’re putting these gorgeous patterns out individually, I hope some of the stealth knitting includes shawls and shawlettes for the next book!!! 😉

Looks like a little mantra ray. Beautiful.

Lovely shawl…but I so thought that the second picture would have Lucy lending a paw!
Beautiful! Any chance that this pattern will be for sale?
Hugs to Lucy
