My current work in progress:

1. Mighty Mini, designed by Rachel Henry, knit from Socks That Rock Worthy in the "Tanzanite" and "The Green That Sings" colorways on a 3.0 mm needle.
2. Myriad stealth projects.

Winners

Today we have winners. Two give-aways this week!

First, the winner of the free copy of the Gothic Spires pattern (from me) and the yummy yarn to make the pattern (from Zen Yarn Garden) is Lisa D. in Upstate NY. Lisa, you have been emailed!

Next up, the give-away for the Needlecards. I have 4 cards, therefore there are 4 winners. (Did you see what I did there? Math. Go, me.)

The winners are: Gaye, Sandy in NJ, Ellen, and Linda. You four have been emailed.

As usual, thank you to everyone who entered both give-aways.

Me? I’m knitting along on my linen stitch — see?

Since I am at home this weekend, I hope I’ll have a lot more progress to show you on Sunday. We’ll see. I’ve also got a stealth project with a deadline I am currently working on, so I am dividing up my knitting time between the two projects.

Thanks to everyone who left such nice comments on yesterday’s post about my clean eating lifestyle. (P.S. to Tam — yes I did buy the purse from Bloomingdale’s during their sale — can’t beat a sale like that, eh?)

In answer to other comments, yes indeed, exercise is an important part of any diet regime. Given that certain parts of me are falling apart at an alarming rate and I been given limits on what I am allowed to do, my exercise regime is not great. But I do the best I can.

Lucy wants someone to throw her paper ball for her!

  3. I’m sure the winners are thrilled. On the flip side, it’s fun to give stuff away, isn’t it?

Love that linen stitch. Must find a project that uses it.
.-= Susan´s last blog ..Need something to read? =-.

  4. I am becoming more and more enamored of linen stitch the more you show us. Is this a pattern of your own design or did I miss the pattern information somewhere. I’m intrigued and want to know more.
.-= Ruth´s last blog ..Should we try to clean the birds? =-.

  5. Love your linen stitch — it’s lovely! And booyah to you for your clean eating and weight loss! I have to find out more about this.

  6. Adrienne says:

I read somewhere that you burn 90 calories a minute while knitting. I think it was an iphone diet/exercise app I tried last year. Not sure how reliable that is as a source…but sounds good to me!

  7. A little aerobic exercise for Lucy!
    .-= janna´s last blog ..FOs =-.

  8. Congrats to the winners! your sweater is going to be lovely

  9. Throwing balls for Lucy sounds like a great exercise regimen to me! Of course, I’ve been lazy and not done anything other than occasional yoga for the last couple of weeks.

Lucy says, “Throwing the paper wad for me is good exercise for you Momma. And, the doctor told me you could do that all you wanted to.”

  11. Beth Holt says:

This isn’t related to your current project….I’m interested in a blog from a long while back about the scale you bought. What was the brand as I’m interested in weighing food and yarn. Thanks. And I just love Lucy….as I love all cats. I have three of my own.

    take care,

  12. I’m sure throwing the ball for Lucy would count as exercise! Hang in there ;) I know about having a few physical limitations with the exercise, and it does suck. That linen stitch is making a really pretty fabric.

  13. Wow love the bag you got I think it is that time of year I have seen tons of sales for handbags. I found QVC was having a great sale on Dooney & Bourke handbags I had been planning on the Priscilla Medium handbag in brown and it was reg. $345.00 and it was on sale for 215.00 I used some back up birthday money I had set aside for some specific yarn and decided the sale was worth waiting for the yarn so I also got the same handbag in Navy also and overall it only cost me $100.00 over what the original price was so for $445.00 I got 2 handbags love it when I find such a good deal on anything hangbags, yarn, shoes, etc. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

  14. You are an amazingly prolific knitter. And now venturing into some new stuff. Love it!

  15. I can’t seem to find the “Honor” yarn on the Lorna’s Laces website. Have they not put it up yet or am I doing something wrong??
and when are we going to get a needle inventory application for the Droid????
