Crochet Inspiration

A couple of weeks ago I received a review copy of this lovely book:

BookCover101710 219x240 Crochet Inspiration

This is Crochet Inspiration by Sasha Kagan. Now, I do not crochet, apart from being able to create a chain and do a few simple stitches when required to do so for, perhaps, an edging for my knitting. But this book does look lovely.

BookA101710 240x160 Crochet Inspiration

Pages and pages of instructions for different stitches:

BookB101710 240x160 Crochet Inspiration

And some patterns in the back. I love this belt:

Who’d like my review copy? Leave a comment to this post by 4:00pm eastern time on Thursday, October 21 and at that time I’ll draw a name at random to receive my book.

Meanwhile, I am knitting along on the back of Eala Bhan.

Your sweater is looking great, Wendy!

I’d love the book. I don’t crochet, but my mom does, and she’d have a blast with it.

  51. Lucy as a muffin is just too cute. I am a long-time crocheter and brand new kniter. Crochet Inspiration is one of my all-time favorite crochet refrence books. There is a beautiful full-color photo of each pattern, written directions, and a pattern chart. The samples are made of different fibers and weights of yarn. Any time I’m ready to try something new, I can always find a nice pattern. I try it in a few different weights of yarn and hook sizes till I find something I like.

  52. Love the sweater and the book!

  53. Crochet is good for making clever little things, isn’t it. That’s about my crochet limit.
