Crochet Inspiration

A couple of weeks ago I received a review copy of this lovely book:

BookCover101710 219x240 Crochet Inspiration

This is Crochet Inspiration by Sasha Kagan. Now, I do not crochet, apart from being able to create a chain and do a few simple stitches when required to do so for, perhaps, an edging for my knitting. But this book does look lovely.

BookA101710 240x160 Crochet Inspiration

Pages and pages of instructions for different stitches:

BookB101710 240x160 Crochet Inspiration

And some patterns in the back. I love this belt:

Who’d like my review copy? Leave a comment to this post by 4:00pm eastern time on Thursday, October 21 and at that time I’ll draw a name at random to receive my book.

Meanwhile, I am knitting along on the back of Eala Bhan.

I would love to win the book. Perfect little “somethings” to add to my knitting projects. Your sweater is amazing. I am taking an Aran (scarf) knitting class right now at a LYS. She won’t let us have a pattern because she wants us to learn by looking at the sample and figuring out what to do next. I’m definitely out of my comfort zone, but I do feel like I’m making steps at learning this way. I aspire to have my knitting look like yours. BTW, we usually call that cat pose the “meat loaf”, but I like your reference much better.
