Crochet Inspiration

A couple of weeks ago I received a review copy of this lovely book:

BookCover101710 219x240 Crochet Inspiration

This is Crochet Inspiration by Sasha Kagan. Now, I do not crochet, apart from being able to create a chain and do a few simple stitches when required to do so for, perhaps, an edging for my knitting. But this book does look lovely.

Pages and pages of instructions for different stitches:

And some patterns in the back. I love this belt:

Who’d like my review copy? Leave a comment to this post by 4:00pm eastern time on Thursday, October 21 and at that time I’ll draw a name at random to receive my book.

Meanwhile, I am knitting along on the back of Eala Bhan.

Thanks for offering these books as give-a-ways.
I love to crochet and I’d love to have this book (and Sunday was my birthday!).
    Hope I win.

  8. Love the Eala Bhan. Would also like the crochet book, lovely and would prove inspiring.

  9. That book looks great. Looks like she used some really nice color choices to make her flowers pretty, but I bet I could make pretty flowers too. I like it when they have graphs in addition to the written instructions; that seems to be becoming more common.

  10. I would love to win that crochet book. By the way, when our kitties are in that position, we call it meat loafing because they look like little meat loafs.

  11. MaryLou Corrigan says:

The crochet book looks enticing. Like you, I’m not a crocheter, but maybe that book could inspire me.

  12. Just learning to crochet; want to do medallions!

  18. Hi
I’m a perpetual lurker at your site and this book is a great enticement to leave a comment since I like both knitting and crocheting. The book looks like it’s full of great little crochet ideas just like the title promises. So thank you for giving it away and giving us a chance to win the copy.
Also the Eala Bhan looks great. I only wish I had the time and patience to make one myself.

  19. I love the cardigan! It is going to be magnificent.

  20. Hi, Wendy, I’d recommend you learn to crochet as you’d be fabulous at it — and I’m sure would create some wonderful knitting + crochet projects. Last year I made a Rowan sweater in 4-ply cotton (fingering weight) that had crocheted granny squares around the bottom and a crochet edging.

  21. Mimi Lawrence says:

I would love this book. Crochet motifs are fun and easy

  22. I would love it! I started as a crocheter ummm.. maybe 40 years ago and only in the last decade was I seduced by the knitting side of the force.
