Happy New Year, y’all. We made it into 2011 without incident. Hope you did too.
I have a new-ish pattern up on Ravelry: the Autumn Dream Scarf.
This pattern had a limited release as part of last year’s Tempted at 3AM club, and it is made from 1 skein of Tempted Lovely Grrl yarn. It is knit from the bottom up, so it gets smaller as you knit. My agreement with the club was that I would put it up for general sale after the first of the year. It occurred to me that was yesterday, so the pattern is now available in my Ravelry store (see link above the photos) for $5.00. If every knitter on Ravelry buys it, I can quit my day job. 
In other news, I have completed one sleeve for my Calmer Aran.
And Lucy is starting the New Year in the fashion she plans to continue . . .
I have a day of laundry and chores planned — whee. Since I don’t expect every knitter on Ravelry will buy my Autumn Dream pattern, I am returning to work tomorrow after a nice break for the holidays.

Wouldn’t it be great if you COULD quit your day job? An inspiration to all knitters (tee-hee). I really like how gracefully this drapes along the back of the shoulders, so if I ever get into lace, I will probably buy it.

So happy to see this beautiful pattern available! Somehow I came across it on Rav during the holidays and decided it was the perfect pattern for a skein of silk/merino fingering weight that I wanted to knit up. I just bought it on Rav and have printed it out!

Love this pattern! I did my part to contribute to your retirement fund! My new year’s resolution is to knit, knit, knit. Not only gifts for next year’s holidays, but some charity knitting as well. And maybe get back into doing some spinning. That’s fallen by the wayside this past fall.
