Terse Thursday

I must be brief by necessity — I’m working on a Real Life deadline.

I have reached the point on the front of the Zig-Zag Sweater where I can commence neck shaping. Here it is:

WIP020912 240x160 Terse Thursday

Whether or not that neck shaping will commence this evening remains to be seen. I think I am too distracted by other things so will likely work on my small stealth project instead.

But I can tell you what I’ll be doing this weekend:

Downton Abbey marathon!

Lucy sez:

“I’d rather watch Animal Planet.”

Comments

  1. I have seen several bloggers talk about Downton Abbey so I had to check it out. I watched episode one of season one, I think I should keep going. It seems like a good show. Lucy is so cute.

  2. I’m jealous! My Downton Abbey hasn’t arrived yet. Maybe, maybe, it’ll come tomorrow.

  3. I love Downton Abbey… I got the previous season from Netflix and catching up on the current season online.

  4. Oh, I’m totally hooked on Downton Abbey. Was fortunate enough to tune in from the very first episode and haven’t missed one since. Can hardly wait until next espisode – think it’s going to be a doozie. I won’t say anything else so as not to spoil if you’re not yet caught up. Enjoy your marathon!!

I have a question about the color of Zig-Zag. Is that Blossom? Or Berry? Whatever, it is pretty.

  5. Sheesh! If only I took the time to read, I would have seen that the color is Blossom!

Please excuse my stupidity. I’m very sorry.

  6. Your sweater is looking awesome. I love how quickly you work things up. It’s like near instant gratification for the rest of us.

  11. Just got series 2 this evening: can’t wait………..must see tv!……..

  12. After you finish Season 2, if you get a chance to watch the Downton Abbey 2011 Christmas Special, you’ll LOVE IT! It ties up a few loose ends and sets us up for Season 3. I downloaded it on my computer using Fenopy.eu. As it aired in the UK before Christmas, it’s available for download.

I’m watching Season 1 from the beginning. It’s been good for me to re-watch it because it clarifies a few things I’d forgotten.

    Enjoy!

  15. The sweater is looking lovely! I’m just catching up on your blog posts and see that you gave away a new POK – I have an old one that my best friend bought for me at a yard sale …..wait for it….for a quarter!! Seriously, who sells a book that that without at least looking on E-bay first?? I was so excited I thought I was going to explode.

And I too have gotten so hooked on Downtown Abbey!

  16. Downton Abbey eh? Did you hear Shirley MacLean is joining the cast? Just waiting to watch her square off against Maggie Smith. Enjoy yourself.

  19. Hope your deadline turns out favorable. I got hooked on Downtown Abbey watching Season. 1 on Netflix and am faithful fan on PBS. Hated that William died. Wanted to smack Daisy on the back of her head. Her knight in shining armor had arrived and she failed to see it. Love Dame Maggie!

  20. Mine Downton Season 2 came Wednesday and it’s burning a hole in my pocket!
