My current work in progress:

Freshet, by Irina Anikeeva for Brooklyn Tweed’s Wool People 13, knit from Rowan Softyak DK in the Steppe colorway, using 3.75mm and 4mm needles.

Maidenhair Back

It’s a rainy Sunday here in Northern Virginia, and I’ve got the back of Maidenhair completed.

The upper edge has live stitches held on lengths of yarn because I plan to attach the shoulders via a three-needle bind-off.

I’ve made some progress on a sleeve:

The last piece of the WendyKnits Summer Mystery Shawl was released at midnight on Friday, and pictures of finished shawls are popping up in Ravelry Forums. The KAL has been a great success! I love seeing all the completed shawls.

Meanwhile at home, Lucy has the perfect plan for a rainy Sunday:

Just beautiful. I love the green, and the cables.

You’ve made lots of progress on your green Maidenhair Cardigan; I love it! The cables are gorgeous! Lucy looks like she is in deep thought!

My goodness, this is one of the most beautiful Aran sweaters ever designed. Even though I’m a process knitter this is one FO I lust for. Your skill is giving me a false sense that I could actually barrel through this and have it folded in my bureau. I know your tricks, Wendy!

  5. That is beautiful! I love the pattern and yarn color.
