Boxy Progress

First of all, the winner of the Defarge Does Shakespeare eBook  is Leslie in MA, who has been notified. Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway!

I’ve made some good progress on Boxy this week. And I finally have a photo that shows the color pretty accurately.

The Handmaiden Mini Maiden makes the most gorgeous knitted fabric. This is knit at a slightly looser gauge than recommended for a fingering weight yarn (23 stitches to 4 inches) and the result is a lovely soft drapey fabric. Makes it very fun to knit!

And Loki likes to keep an eye on me while I knit!

Thanks, Wendy! The book was indeed sitting in my Ravelry Library just as you said 😀 I’m already having fun reading and plotting.

Loki looks more like he’s squinting as you knit. Does he need glasses?

  2. Denise Wessman says:

Loki is sooooo adorable. Great looking yarn. Can’t wait to see boxy completed.

  3. Mini Maiden is definitely one of my favorite yarn So~LOVE knitting with it! Have used it in 3 Camp Loopy projects…..Loki is just too cute!

  4. That is one beautiful cat face

  5. Love the color! If Loki is keeping an eye on you, it must be the third eye hidden under the floof — his other two are closed!
