My current work in progress:

Freshet, by Irina Anikeeva for Brooklyn Tweed’s Wool People 13, knit from Rowan Softyak DK in the Steppe colorway, using 3.75mm and 4mm needles.

Mousie Mania

Thanks to the 169 of you so far who have bought my “Nose-Up Mouse” pattern! That translates into a little more than $150.00 for an animal charity. I think this portion will go to The Snow Leopard Trust.

There have already been a few mousies made from the pattern posted on Ravelry, and I’m pleased to see that the knitters rated the pattern very easy and said it was well-written!

Meanwhile, I have made good progress on my Angelina Cardigan. I am knitting the bottom band. After that, all that remains are the front bands/neckband.

And Loki is being a big help.

Fantastic!! Did not know the snow leopards were that endangered. Loki looks very content in the picture. Give her some lovely head strokes for me. Have a Great Week. M

  2. Bridget says:

    Mousies, mousies gonna be everywhere!

I wish the snow leopards would have fake tattoos! Beautiful creatures!

  3. Love your mouse pattern. I am anxious to make several for my cat Misty as soon as I finish the baby sweater for my niece’s baby shower. Thanks Wendy for donating the money for the endangered Snow Leopards.

  4. GeniaKnitz says:

I *love* snow leopards, but for some reason we haven’t donated to the Trust in a while.
Time for this cat lover to make another direct donation.
I’m so glad your choice reminded me. Thanks, Wendy.

Love snow leopards. How appropriate to donate to wild cats. Thank you for a great pattern and wonderful charity.
