Camp Loopy July Project

Happy July! I am very happy to be working on my July Camp Loopy project:

This is a shawl pattern called Sur le chemin de l’école. The directive for this project, lifted from The Loopy Ewe blog:

Theme: Buried Treasure. You just never know what you’re going to find buried, do you? The challenge this month is to make something that has been in your Ravelry queue or on your Ravelry favorites list (or on your internal “must make” list) for more than a year. It has been buried in your list – now it is time to unearth it! Your project must use a minimum of 600 yards in this single project.

I really don’t queue things in Ravelry, but I do favorite patterns, so I looked back and found this pattern that I had favorited quite a long time ago. So long ago that I had no recollection of the pattern, but I love it. It is very entertaining because there’s a lot going on! I’m using Madelinetosh Pashmina in the “Rain Water” colorway, a total of over 1000 yards, so it meets the yardage requirement for the project.

Because this is a holiday weekend, I predict a lot of progress by the next post!
