My current work in progress:

Autumn Bliss Collection

First things first, thank you to everyone who entered the giveaway for an autographed copy of Remembering the Way by Greta Beekhuis. The winner is emcknits, who has been contacted via email.

Next up . . . something new from Annie’s Craft Store. You may know of Annie’s site — they are not only knitting -related, but have lots of other crafts represented. I have given away booklets of knitting patterns from annie’s a number of times in the page. They are now introducing Annie’s Signature Designs, and the Autumn Bliss 2016 Collection, for both knitting and crochet. There are extensive lookbooks for knitting and crochet linked to from that page, and one of the nice features of the lookbooks are 360-degree videos, found here. For quick reference, check out a page with thumbnails of the designs (with links to videos) here. There’s a little bit of everything — cardis, pullovers, ponchos, accessories. The designs are knit from readily available yarns and you can even order your yarn from Annie’s, building your own kit.

Work in Progress

My Hitchhiker Beyond is progressing slowing because I only managed a few minutes of lunchtime knitting each day. But here is a progress photo:

Comments

  1. Amen on the little time for lunchtime knitting. But the progress is looking great.

  2. Your Hitchhiker Beyond is pretty. Loki is in bliss on that sofa now- he doesn’t need to wait for autumn!

  3. Oh my gosh, that is the most adorable picture of Loki! 🙂

  4. Thanks for the tip on checking out Annie’s new patterns. Loki does look adorable on his couch;O))

  5. Jean Palionis says:

Now that is a beautiful picture of Loki! It looks like it would be worth framing. What a prince!

  6. I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably say it again – that is one seriously beautiful cat! Skritch a little skritch on his beautiful head from me.
Oh, and the HB is lovely, as well.

  7. Loved the look books on Annie’s site – I’m a sucker for pretty ponchos. Thanks for the tip!

  8. Shirley Gallagher says:

I love the beauty that is Loki. Now my cats want a sofa like his (grin).

  9. Oh brother, that cat’s got it made! “Beulah, peel me a grape!” I love the little sofa, not sure TomTom kitty would approve as he’s into the great big queen bed. He only occupies one tiny corner of said bed, but I guess he likes to keep his options open. I’ve been considering Hitchhiker for a while, for the gift box. Once I get past the holiday knitting (if ever…) I’ll be picking up some hibernating WIPs.
