My current work in progress:

Yell, a design from Marie Wallin from her pattern collection entitled Shetland. It is knit on a size 3.25mm needle with Jamieson’s of Shetland Shetland Spindrift.

New Year, Old Project

Happy New Year!

I’ve spent the first week of the year knitting along on Granito.

But the end is in sight! I am almost done with the body and have just started knitting the bottom ribbing. I worked until I was almost out of yarn. I’ve reserved enough for 10 or so rounds of ribbing.

Meanwhile, Loki is doing his impression of a hermit crab.

  1. What a pretty lettuce green!

I hope Loki gets out of there before the tide comes in. 😉

  2. SO close I can`t wait to see it done. I bet you feel about the same way

  3. I have the same bag Loki has, in red. I love it!

  4. Lovely, classic and oh-so wearable. Looking forward to the FO.

Smart Loki! Hibernating in these freezing temps is a great idea. So is knitting a pretty sweater, and deciding on the ribbing length when the rest of the sweater is done, as you have.
