Fuzzyfeet!
As promised, to go along with yesterday’s “before” picture, here are the “after” pictures of my Fuzzyfeet, which were knitted for me by Kate.
I felted them bad boys down to perfection! It took maybe half an hour in the washer. I mooshed them onto my feet while damp, took them off, and let them dry in the proper shape. And they are wonderful. Thanks Kate! And thanks Theresa for the great pattern!

Yep. Second sleeve goes really really fast when one is determined to finish it. I’ll do the official page on my website for it this weekend, when I’ll get a photo of me wearing it.
So I spent last evening winding thousands of balls of Jamieson & Smith shetland wool into centerpull balls in preparation for starting the Oregon Cardigan. And cast on and did a couple of rows in corrugated ribbing. The horror! Two-color corrugated ribbing is not my favorite thing, but it beats two-color garter stitch in the round.
So there you have it. Photos when there’s anything worth photographing.

I’m uncharacteristically speechless,Wendy! The 5SB/5SG sweater is magnificent! Well,done, Knitting Goddess! The slippers look so comfy–my first attempt at felted slippers was a disaster—they are probably housing a family of mice in our woods now! Maybe I’ll try again with Theresa’s pattern!

The slippers are great too, I’ve been very tempted too try felted slippers myself, but I think it would be too much to watch out for them. I can “protect” my socks from them dogs, but slippers? hehe
Wendy, I cannot believe how beautiful that sweater is! You should be very proud - that re-design really rivals the original.
And I’m envious of the slippers - I just might try a pair myself. (Although I’m wondering if there’s a way to put a sole on them — I’ve been seen in the supermarket wearing my pink fuzzy slippers before since they have a rubber sole.)

I think you can buy stuff to “paint” on the soles of your slippers to make them non-skid, but I bet you could figger out how to do apply a real sole, too.

Oh My God. Wendy, it’s fabulous. And the sleeve caps are sewed in so artistically! I’ve always had trouble with shaped sleeve tops. It’s truly better than the original and will no doubt serve you well these cold Winters. Kiss,kiss!

oh, my. the grrls and bitches look fab. I’m waiting for my copy of Norsk Strikkedesign in the mail myself - did you know, Amazon isn’t carrying it? i ordered from KnitPicks - but I don’t think that’s the one I’ll tackle first! If my grandmother were still alive I’d beg her to make it for me, but I don’t think she really did much stranded knitting.
