Why, Izzy is, of course!

Mail Call!

A surprise in the mail! There was a huge mailing tube waiting for me when I got home yesterday, from Alaska. I couldn’t imagine what it was . . .

Inside was a gift from Lori — a couple of large calendars and beautiful prints created by her artist husband, Richard Schanche. I didn’t post photos of them because I believe photographing copyrighted material is a no-no, but here’s a link to a site where you can view his beautiful work.

Lori, I misplaced your email address so I hope you’re reading this — thank you so much!

Oregon

Not a whole lot of progress on the Oregon cardi as I was suffering with a migraine all day yesterday, but here’s an update photo.

Fortunately the headache is subsiding. We’ll see what the commute does to me. . .

Have a great weekend everyone!

That’s one of the best photo’s of Izzy I’ve seen yet! Blimey, handsome bloke isn’t he? (I’m practicing for England : )

Thanks Kathy, but don’t let Izzy hear you call her a bloke! She’s a she. :-) Izzy is short for Isolde.

She was sitting next to my Ott Light when I took the photo, so she’s half illuminated by the Ott. That means that’s her true color, right? ;-)

Izzy, we love to see your little face!

All this time I thought she was a he. Don’t tell her : )

I won’t tell, but she DOES read my blog. ;-)

Look at that face! She’s making nice for now, but she knows you were trash-talking about her over at Joe’s the other day…

Every time I see Izzy, though, it reminds me that I need to get on the stick and find myself a new kitty. And a digital camera.

Meet Lucy, my sealpoint Ragdoll kitty and knitting supervisor. She was born in February 2001. She was a rescue cat: I adopted her from Capital Animal Care in May 2003.
