Okie dokie, kiddies. Several of you expressed a desire for the Kimono Jacket pattern, so I am making it available, but I’m making you pay for it. Only $5.00! Woo!

Even More Lace Talk
I know. The excitement is overwhelming, isn’t it?
But we are doggedly knitting lace and little else, so that’s all there is. I did a few more rows on Wing-o’-the-Moth last night, but didn’t quite complete the Twin Leaves section. The need for sleep outweighed my need to knit.
So I’ll be finishing the last row of that section after I post this. And starting the edging pattern, which looks like it’ll be a whole heckuva lot of fun.
See? Even Lucy is jazzed.
So pardon the brevity of this post, but I must get back to the Moth.
And Lucy needs to return to her Olympic training.

Phyl looks terrific in the jacket - looks like it would be very comfortable to wear.
Yay, I got my pattern! It’s *exactly* what I’ve been looking for. I was hoping to get an autographed picture of Miss Lucy with it but that wasn’t part of the download.
No! I have 16 rows left! Must… finish… first… must work feverishly… time to go sit out in the garden and haul ass on my knitting!
Wow! I can’t believe how quickly you got the kimono jacket pattern up! If we get to vote on which goes up next, my vote would be “Deirdre”. I’d pay SIX bucks for that one!

Dear Wendy,
I am interested in purchasing your Kimono Jacket, but I have a few questions. First, I would like to knit your jacket with as much ease as Phyl has when she is wearing the kimono jacket. Have you built an over-sized ease into the pattern, or will the pattern knit up at the actual 40, 45 or 50″ bust? For an example, I am a 48″ bust, and I’d like to knit a jacket with 6″ of ease. If I buy your pattern, will I need to up-size the jacket to 54″? Thanks, Wendy.

Hey Wendy, sorry if you’ve been asked this before - but what kind of needles do you use when you knit lace?!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I, too, have a question regarding size. I have a 36″ bust, and usually knit for a 34-35″ depending on the ease. I wear a size small, or a 4-6. Would I need a smaller size than the 40″? Or is 40″ the actual measurement of the garment. (I realize it should fit loosely)
I love your kimona jacket .It a style I actually would wear and feel comfortable. I am curious as to the level of knitting difficulty would you rate it ?
The jacket looks great on your friend, the moth lace is beautiful, and Lucy is Lucy … which is always great. She’s a beauty!

Sorry, I couldn’t resist–the idea of a kitty doing anything ‘doggedly’ cracks me right up.
The kimono jacket is great and I will look forward to seeing what other creations you will be adding to the Wendy Knits! line of patterns.

I got my pattern! Off to search the stash to see if there is appropriate yarn. Please add more patterns…this is a great way to buy them. Giving some of the money to charity is a great idea…maybe to the rescue where you got Lucy???…just a thought.
