Remember These Socks?
The formerly unnamed socks pictured above are now called Walk the Plank Socks. The pattern is now available for sale from the Sanguine Gryphon’s etsy shop.
Oh, and the Swan Song Socks pattern is now available as a freebie download from The Loopy Ewe’s free pattern page.

For those who asked, this sock pattern will not be made available to the public. It’s a freebie I doodled up for my Plurk buddies. Sorry!

All of the socks you make are beautiful! I wish I could get more into knitting socks. I knit one pair and started on another, but it didn’t really hold my attention like other projects. Maybe if I try again with an interesting pattern, it will be able to keep my attention throughout the entire pair of socks.

Did you ever get your dancing Ba-Naner on Plurk? I haven’t been back recently to check, but by now I’m hoping you have a dancing sea monkey or something on top of the dancing banana.

Okay, I bought the Walk the Planks pattern and found a colorway of Sanguine Gryphon’s Sea Sock that I liked for this pattern. This yarn is only 378 yards per skein. Will that be enough? I’m a skinny-footed 8.5. My foot’s my only skinny part.

Erratum with the Swan Song Toe-Up Sock PDF:
The Notes explain in great detail that one needs two sizes of needle for this pattern–but under Needles, it only specifies one size, US 0/2.0mm. Is this meant to be the larger needle or the smaller one? My gauge on fingerling mostly-wool sock yarn hovers around 8 st/in on US 2/3.0 mm in stockinette, so, er, I’m no help–but if I know whether the smaller or larger needle is supposed to be US 0/2.0 mm, I can extrapolate for myself from there.
