Meet Lucy, my sealpoint Ragdoll kitty and knitting supervisor. She was born in February 2001. She was a rescue cat: I adopted her from Capital Animal Care in May 2003.

Congrats! The front cover photo is gorgeous - I can’t wait to see the patterns inside! It will be SO nice to have a sock book that I don’t have to think about “turning” all of the charts and instructions in the book to be toe up - will definitely be adding it to my wish list!

I’m looking forward to this book, because I have yet to get the hang of toe-up socks. I always knit top-down but would like to learn toe-up as well! wow wendy !! i’m so thrilled for you !! i’ll be heading off to amazon as soon as i finish typing. btw, who do i have to sleep with in order to get a signed copy ??? please tell me you managed to squeeze the the nanner socks into the book. i talked myself out of joining plurk just before the pattern was released thinking …don’t need another addiction, nope, ugh,ugh. by the time i saw the pattern it was too late…but the book should help soothe the sting a little. my PAS (pattern aquisition syndrome ) okay, it’s an addiction, hates knowing there is a pattern of yours i don’t have and can’t get. gotta get to amazon before i depress myself. Again, way to go !! i sooo love your patterns.

Juanita is right and all of a sudden I am intensely curious: I know you put some photos of Miss Lucy here and there in your last book, so what about this time? And are the socks modelled by different “models,” or what? I am interested!

Now you must know how my uncle feels, whose show is soon to air on Playhouse Disney - those final months before you foist your masterpiece on the public. 
Lucy looked so happy yesterday with her canary that I almost bought something for my cat Luther, but then I remembered that he’s so fat and lazy that he’s never so much as flicked an ear in a new toy’s direction.
Whew, there’s a mouthful for ya.
