I took the train up on Friday and was met at the station by my hostess, Janice aka Obstiknit (pssst! Janice is participating in a three-day breast cancer walk in October — check out her cancer walk blog for details).

We attended a potluck dinner at her LYS Stitches With Style that night. It was great to hang out with all these fun knitters. Saturday I taught two classes on techniques for toe-up socks, then hopped on the train to come home.

Janice and her 4 beautiful kitties were great hosts — thanks, y’all! And thanks to Linda and everyone at Stitches With Style for making me feel so welcome and ensuring I had such a great time.

Today was for hanging out with my Lucy and doing exciting things like laundry.

I knit some on my still-un-named circular shawl.
