It happened on Saturday, documented by the above photo. Yours truly, Polly, Kristine, and Amelia met up for some fun and frivolity.
And a great afternoon it was!
Holly had her French Market Bag and posed with Polly (designer of said bag).
And here’s another great thing about Knit Happens — the owner gives one-finger head massages!
Klaralund
Due to my unfortunate accident on Thursday morning, I was not feeling up to doing much knitting either Thursday or Friday night. But Klaralund is a fast knit, and I did finish her last night. I’ll post FO pix tomorrow and discuss, but for now, here’s a photo of the last lseeve, nearing completion.
By the way, thanks for your good foot wishes! It feels much better when I sit with it elevated, but walking is still a problem.
September Contest Winner!
The winner of the knitting calendar is Beth, of Big Geek. Congratulations! Beth, I’ve emailed you — send me your snail mail addy and I’ll get your prize out to you.
Spongebob!
More Spongebob prezzies!
Earrings, sent to me by Margaret in Manhattan. I think they look lovely with the diamond studs, don’t you?
And candies, a little bag of ponytail holders, and a keyring from Ann!
Doesn’t the Spongebob keyring look nice hooked on my Louis Vuitton keyring? I think so.
Happy Monday, all.
very cool pics!! and can’t wait to see the lovely klara unveiled.
Your poor sore ankle! I’m sorry I didn’t see it till today. Did you xray it? Are you putting ice on it? I will think healing thoughts your way 😉
those hotspongebobs (or at least one of them) look great dangling below your diamond … waiting to hear the results of the md visit –

Dear Wendy:
GET WELL SOON! You are in my thoughts and prayers,
Peg
Hi Wendy. Love the SB earrings! Keep that foot up, and I’ll think no-swelling thoughts for you.
I love that there is a picture of two knitters named Holly and Polly. HollyAndPolly, HollyAndPolly, HollyAndPolly. I can’t stop saying it. They need a show or something. And there was frivolity! Holly and Polly with Frivolity! I’ve got my mantra for the day! I hope you’re foot feels better. Remember – better living through chemicals.

Eeeeeeee! I’m in love with Spongebob. If he were a tall, dark, handsome man who could breath air, I’d leave my man and marry him. I’m particularly fond of the earings.
Have you ever toyed with the idea of refering to your blog as the “Spongeblog”? I know *I* never would.

I could never figure out what you saw in that Spongebob (who to me is rather annoying?!). Then, while reading one of the Captain Underpants series (my personal favorite fictional charactors by Dav Pilkey) I realized that there were actually people out there who might not appreciate HIM!
loving fictional men,

Heidi told me to tell you “Heel!” But I suspect she meant “Heal!” Hope you’re back in your big-girl shoes soon! 🙂
Help! I want to become part of this group, but don’t know how.
I am just getting back into knitting and would like some easy modern patterns or ideas. Thanks.
