Sneak Peek!

Today I got a sneak peek at the warehouse that is the home of the soon-to-be Knit Happens online store.

All these boxes (and many more!) contain yarn. I peeked inside some of them, and I might have attempted to make off with some particularly yummy yarn, but I didn’t get very far.

Kristine is showing off her shelves here.

Thank you!

I need to say thank you to some people whose email addys I don’t have handy, so here we go:

Thank you, Thuy!

Thank you, Katie!

And thank you, Linda, for the Knit Happens gift certificate! There’s no photo of it here because I . . . um . . . already spent it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here’s the day’s tennis sweater progress pic.

And of course, Lucy.

Okay, I gotta go. I’m old and tired. But I’ve been immensely entertained by all the contest entries so far. Yikes!

  1. Daisy Jones says:

Wendy, I been knitting ever since I left Kentucky and came to West Virginia, about 5 years, and I love to see all the fancy yarns you use. That’s a nice SpongeBob movie thingie! I haven’t seen the movie yet, becuase my kids are a handful and one of theyre daddies is still incarcerated. But come next payday maybe I’ll treat my little ones to the movie from Blockbuster.

    Luv your web sight.

  2. oooo, goody…. thanks for the sneak peek ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. After reading everyone else’s entry, I am not sure that I deserve to win. And I am upset–my husband asked me if I still have the outfit!

  4. giggle…I just can’t stop giggling over the tech support *answer* giggle. Except I’m so tired I think I’ll just take a little…..zzzzzz
HEY, what time is it anyway?
What EXACTLY were you thinking of absconding with? I’ll bet there’s some fabulous fiber in those boxes!

  5. Thatis lovely spinning fiber you received. Have you been spinning at all? Enquiring minds want to know.

  6. Jonathan says:

I have a general question about your knitting: which method do you use to cast on? Do you vary it depending on the garment?

  7. What a surprise! You already spent the Knit Happens gift certifiacte. And that reminds me that I have something I want to send you. I need to get that ready to mail.

  8. Looks like it won’t be long until we can ALL shop and KH.

  9. I’m loving the sweater! Must purchase the yarn this weekend. Going to MT all next week. Need to knit something exciting!

  10. To quote husband, upon seeing Lucy, ” OOOOOOOOOOhhhh precious fuzzy kitty! Adorable kitty! Crazy-ass hair kitty!”

Is there any wonder I’m in love with this man?
