Should we actually get the total snow accumulation the weather people are bleating about, I’m ready!!

  1. Yeah, but you forgot the wine and the chocolate!

  2. You know, those of us in Southern California would just be happy with rain, much less a pile of snow. Apparently, Mother Nature forgot it was winter here…

  3. I’m so glad I powered through the crowds at Safeway this morning for…for..snain?

  4. I totally agree with your combo of snowy Saturday delights! Enjoy!

  5. Carole’s right – there’s a critical gap in your supplies!

  6. You are SO ready. I don’t know if I should hope you do or do not get the snow!

  7. Please feel free to send any precipitation you don’t want to Dallas! Everything is crispy around here, even if we did get a 1/4″ of rain yesterday.

    Have fun this weekend!

  8. It just started snowing here around 4:30, but really, really fine stuff . . . it will be interesting to see what we wake up to in the morning! Meanwhile, yep, I’d say you’re set!

  9. Better finish the jumper fast – you could be needing it!

  10. Is that Rt. 128? And it appears to be rain, no snow. Glad you’re ready for it. Rose and Lucy are looking good!

  11. LOL – you look ready to weather a blizzard. No food, no chocolate?
Well, your blog has inspired me to do something truly out of character – I bought yarn today with no patterns, and yarn that costs the moon to boot! I’m off now to ball up my Artisan Lace now – $1/g, wish me luck with my first lace project!

Lucy looks ready for cold weather too – all that yummy fur.

    Keep warm!

  12. YIPPEE! Snow! I’m waiting for ours! ~crossing fingers!
    Enjoying your long weekend?

  13. Forgive me for giggling …. only slightly.

  14. Okay, this is barely conversational snow. Not even worth getting the snow blower out for. Unless a blizzard blows through between now and dawn, it’s yet another example of Washington area snow fears gone wild. For pete’s sake! You’d have thought the second coming of the Knickerbocker storm was headed our way!

Pass the merlot and the lace knitting…..

  15. First snow is always exciting but the excitement sort of wears off when you have had it for three months and you are still looking at three more months with snow…
Watching videos and knitting when it is snowing heavily outside can be so relaxing… Enjoy! Rose is lovely. So is Lucy. Has she ever been out when there is snow?

  16. Mmm, looks like the plans for a cozy Saturday.

  17. I never watched Sex and the City when it was on, but I got the entire series from the library, and spent many happy hours knitting with Carrie and friends. Well, I knitted…they took care of the sex part! Enjoy!

  18. It isn’t up to my wheel wells here and they’ve already been plowing us out in the complex. I yawn at the snow.

  19. We’ve got the snow now up in NYC – but why oh why couldn’t it have started tonight and gone into tomorrow, for a work snowday?! By the way, I think Rose is stunning.

  20. Sounds like a good weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. *grins*

I know *just* how you feel. Yesterday we had our little snow…and we were very pleased. Especially Mr. Orange, who appreciates any opportunity for greater exposure in the hopes of achieving complete media dominance. Or so he tells me. The Chickie? She just wants food.

  22. Wow, Rose is looking great! It snowed all day Saturday here in MI and we got……barely anything. Good luck!

  23. in delaware we got about 10″ where i live.
needless to say im not going anywhere today
