My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

Famed director Cecil B. De KOARC has just released his new short feature starring Lucy Garbo, entitled Lucy at Home With Her Humans.

  1. A star is born!

  2. More! More! You have to do Lucy II. Please?

  3. Anxiously awaiting the sequel.

  4. Wow, so cute, thanks for the clip.

  5. Wow, that girl really knows how to “work the camera”!

  6. What a cute video. And the Director’s voice got Miss Lulu over to the computer to sniff at it. And what is that spininng wheel over on the left side of the frame??

  7. Aww! Lucy is definately one of the most photo/videogenic cats I have ever seen.

  8. You left us hanging with that ending! Can’t wait for Lucy II.

  9. Boo boo? BOO BOO????? Excuse moi, but . . . . awwwwwwwwwwww!!! Thank you, KOARC for giving us an action picture of Lucy! Can you perhaps get a shot of that lightening-fast knitter you live with?

  10. AWWWW Lucy’s a little Boo Boo Kitty! I love it, can’t wait for the sequel!

  11. Very cute. I take it the KOARC is playing with his new camera ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Great tail end!

  13. have you decided what you are wearing to the awards shows?

  14. Lucy is such a cat! I mean, the epitome of catness!

  15. Awwwww…..I agree with the others…More! More! A standing O for Lucy!

  16. Lucy in action – how fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

  17. my mom has a Himy who at birth was named BOO BOO! I like that we get a shot of your wheel and fiber basket ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. meow… cool!

  19. She’s a star! Too bad it wasn’t a speaking role! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  20. That is awesome! Lucy must have a sequel.

  21. That was really cool! Thanks for the video of Lucy. Pretty pretty Lucy! And nice cameo by the dainty “delicate flower” feet walking in the background. =) Happy Weekending!

  22. Oscar nominee no doubt……..for star, director, props, camera…….a first and a hoot!

  23. What a glamour puss ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. deborah J. Hartman says:

so if we did a close-up of the books, would they all be knitting related? i think there should be a “spot the knitting items” contest for the video….
we also have a boo-boo look-alike, adopted at 5 years old. name is gracie, beautiful, but afraid of her own shadow..

  26. Lucy is gorgeous. I thought she might take a spin with your shuttle!
P.S. Still pays to buy extra with a Dale pattern

  27. What will Lucy be wearing to the Emmys?

  28. I absolutely adored this bit of Lucy material. She’s such a star.

  29. OMG…The Meezer was mesmerized! The really funny part was hearing KOARC (a MALE voice) and watching The Meezer as SHE heard him (she’s not a man’s cat at all…). She jumped out of my lap to the floor and watched from there…a “safe” distance…
    Lucy is definitely star-quality!

  30. I was on the edge of my seat. I anticipate we’ll be seeing that again on awards night.

  31. and new Siberian Colette aka Coco sat on top of the laptop and watched with total kitten intensity!

  32. Two hooves up from the goats.

  33. Hi Wendy thank you for the short film.
Does this open the door to you teaching us how to knit?

Have a nice weekend I for one look forward to your next clip.

  34. Such poise! Such grace! And how she just totally ignores his finger and walks away in a huff? So real. It’s as if she really became her subject. Oh, I’ve never seen such passion poured into a role before. All the kids will be talking about this for weeks!

  35. From Girlpants (3 years old) as she watches Lucy:

“Awwww, she’s so cute. Hello Lucy! Look at her tail! I am going into that world!”

mouths of babes and all that…

  36. On film and in fibre. A very famous kitty indeed!
    She’s lovely.

  37. My daughter was thrilled to see a kitty video in Mommy’s sites that she visits every day. It made her morning!

  38. She moves! (Beautifully).

  39. I’m now a subscriber to your you tube feed(s). Would love to see Wendy’s needles smoking on something she’s workin’ on!!!!!

  40. Lucy is gorgeous, but she clearly thinks you have lost your mind(s)! Poor thing, what she has to put up with-oh, no, here they go again! Love that fluffy tail!

  41. What a surprise! I never ever thought I could see Lucy moving. Hope to see more !

  42. Lucy rocks! A beautifully furry combo of looks, personality, and acting ability (and she doesn’t even have to have a speaking role to be the star)!

I hope she continues to keep a certain aura of mystery though … too many celebrities just share way too much of their personal life … ๐Ÿ™‚

  43. Love it! She is so adorable. Yes, Lucy II is needed.

  44. Ah, the wonder that is YouTube. ๐Ÿ™‚ Hi Lucy!

  45. Hahahaha! Cute! What tolerance!

  46. Wow, she is cuter than ever! Is that a hand knit kitty toy she walks by at the end? Love the video!

  47. Ok, you two are offically silly! I love it.

  48. Lucy is a beautiful catress!!!I’d love to hear her speak some dialogue in her next video.

  49. Loved the movie. Really loved the Pea Pod Sweater in Purple! I’ve made it as well, and I agree with you. The yardage was REALLY overstated. I only used about 450 yards to make both the sweater and the hat. But its one of my favorite pieces–hopefully to adorn my granddaughter when she makes her debut in Jan 2007.

  50. Wow, she’ll be in the running for an Oscar for sure!

  51. Leslie - knitting therapist says:

There’ll be no living with her now!
    Lovely girl!

  52. Lucille Ball (Arnaz)in “I Love Lucy” debuted on TV Oct. 15, 1951.

Lucy Garbo (Johnson)in “At Home with her Humans” debuted on You Tube Oct. 13, 2006.

Wishing Lucy Garbo a long run!

  53. Awwww! (yeah, I know, eloquent) I love that there are 2 spinning wheels (am I right? tell me I’m right), a fiber basket with spindles (or bobbins; I’m not a spinner), lots of books, Wendy feet in the background, and that KOARC talks to the kitty in the same kind of silly sing-song voice that we all use.

    I repeat, awwwww.

  54. Lucy in action! Hurray! We’ll never be satisfied with still pictures now, you know. ๐Ÿ™‚

  55. PS We call our Grace “Boo Boo Kitty” too. Must be universal!

  56. Oh my gosh!
I feel so privileged – like I’ve been invited into your home!

    thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

  57. Can I get your autograph, Lucy? (Er, I mean, paw-tograph.)

  58. Oh great now that she’s an Internet Star no doubt she’ll be demanding Evian with her meow mix.
