I don’t usually blog on Fridays, but I have an important announcement.

Gale Zucker, photographer extraordinaire, is in the running for a Microsoft contest that would enable her to take photos of Heifer International projects and families.I think y’all kn ow that Heifer International is an organization near and dear to my heart, so how fabulous would this be?

  18. I voted! Heifer International is getting a part of a knitting basket donation from our knitting group with some of the proceeds we will earn from our bus trip to Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. Other money will be used to buy yarn for charity knitting and to pay upfront costs to host a community knitting event in the region. We have 55 yarn-ies on the bus and they are anxious … door prizes donated by vendors and friends, goodie bags and lots of fun. Knitting should be fun! And you blog helps make my knitting hobby lots of fun. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
