Contest Winners

First things first, the winners in the KnitCircus contest!

Emily and Sara have each won a one-year subscription. I have emailed you two — congratulations!

And the following people have  won a copy of the patterns from the Summer Collection:

Wanda in AR, BuleberryKnitSocks, Marion, Bev Watts, Louise in Boise, Carla in NE Texas, Olivia, Kristen, Kathy Parcell, and Beverley.

Congratulations to you all — I have emailed you as well.

Thanks to everyone who entered the contest.

I was away this past weekend in Minneapolis, teaching classes and signing books at Needlework Unlimited. As usual when I go to Minneapolois, I had a great time.

And I managed to finish the back of my d’Azur:

And today I slept all afternoon. So you get a brief blog entry only today.

But I have something fun to show you tomorrow.

Comments

  1. Lucy is so cute in that photo.

I have been toying with project monogamy lately, and I find that I am constantly amazed by how much you get done. Even with knitting over lunch, and on my commute, etc. I still have so little to show for it. At least I’m having fun. I think it would be too demoralizing to knit as slow as I do if it weren’t at least keeping me entertained!

  2. To the commenter above: “Project monogamy”–love the term!

  3. Carla in NE Texas says:

I am blown away. I never (well, I guess now I will have to say practically never) win anything but this… this is such a fabulous surprise! Thank you, Wendy, and thank you, Knit Circus! I can’t wait…

  4. Dorothy says:

Congrats to all those winners…………….you lucky dogs!! Glad you had fun and Lucy looks like she is thinking just what you said. Pretty girl!!

  5. Melissa says:

Welcome home, though I’m sure the kitty love said that louder than any of us could.

Also that’s a great looking piece of knitting.

  6. Ooh, pretty. Me-likey.
.-= Desiree´s last blog ..Socks, Socks, Socks! =-.

  7. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks for helping me maintain my non-winning streak, LOL! I swear, Miss Lucy is so conscious of her appearance — she always looks like she’s posing. Have you ever taken a “bad” picture of her? I wasn’t sure I liked the stripes in your Azur, but seeing a larger section has helped. Pretty stuff!

  8. Melissa G says:

I like how the stripes are undulating a bit with the lace pattern.

  9. Thanks for another great contest, Wendy and Lucy!

  10. I admire how much fun you have. Your knitting is awesome, books, travel and a daily newsletter. Then you have a job. How do you fit it in. The contest are so sweet of you to give away the yarn. Thank you for all of your info.

  11. Therese says:

Welcome home! Great job of hunting and gathering.

  12. Hope I am doing this correctly. I’d love to receive the beautiful yarn you are giving away!!!!! Here goes.
