My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

Square E

Here is the completed fifth square of my Cornerstone Blanket:

This is the square with the largest center and very little border.

I started Square F, the last one, on Friday, and here it is in progress:

I hava a fair bit of knitting to do on this, but I may finish it today. Then all that remains is attaching these last two squares and the i-cord edging. I’ve decided to do the edging in the blue colorway. That’ll give it a nice pop of color!

Lucy sez:

“It’s the weekend! Kick back!”

  1. GeniaKnitz says:

Gorgeous! Square 5 is my very favorite.

  2. This is a beautiful project to watch – very nicely done! I’m looking forward to seeing the finished piece and I love the idea of the blue to put it together. Happy weekend!

  3. Love the blue border idea. The more neutral color would seem drab.

  4. Liking that a lot!

  5. Interested to seeing this completed…love that afghan in the background…

  6. I just love that blue!

  7. Wow you’re speedy. But then I knew that. This is the most consistent shade of Silk Garden I’ve seen in a while. Noro always has a surprise.
