Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! I’ve been having a nice quiet day with my furry baby.

Knits That Breathe

Judgng from the number of comments on my last post, a lot of you are interested in a book of summer knits worked in non-wool yarns! The Rnadom Number Generator chose Pauline S, who has been emailed, to win a copy of Knits That Breathe: 12 Breezy Projects To Keep You Cool by Julie Turjoman. Thanks to everyone who left a comment.

Current Knitting

I am coming along on my second Foolproof Cowl.

Just a few more rounds left until I join it into a circle. I reversed the colors in my striping sequence on the secon half, just for grins.

“Look at the crinkle tunnel my Momma got for me!”

  1. Karen Merrill says:

My kitty loves her crinkle tunnel too!

  2. Love your blog posts and seeing your fur baby! I must look for a crinkle tunnel.

  3. Happy Mothers Day!
    Tunnels are always fun!

  4. Suzanne says:

Loki looks cute in the tunnel. A co-worker gave me hers a few years ago and then when another co-worker got a kitten, I passed it along to her. Every now and then I get to see pictures of her cats playing in it. It is fun for the kitties. The Foolproof cowl looks fun, I will have to add it to my queue.

  5. Your second Foolproof Cowl looks beautiful; love the colors. Loki looks so cute in his tunnel. Happy Mother’s Day Wendy!

  6. Dorothy in Kentucky says:

Loki you just too darn cute. Love that cowl. Colours so spring.

  7. Chris Reeske says:

Marshal loves his tunnel too. He sits at the end and waits, sometimes for 15 minutes, for just the right time, and then runs thru at top speed, we call him thunder cat.
Really like the cowl, but we’re going to be in three digit weather this coming week, so I’ll pass for now.

  8. Love those colors in your cowl! Loki looks so cute in the crinkle tunnel!
Lizy Tish´s last blog post ..Problems. I have them.

  9. We have a crinkle tunnel. Jasper races through it sporadically. He loves to pop out the hole in the middle.

  10. Loki knows how to have fun! I got a crinkle sack for our kittehs, both of whom normally love a sack, but neither one will get into the crinkle sack. We’ve put it away for now. Cowls are wonderful for near-instant gratification.
