My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

Finally, I see a light at the end of the Woodfords tunnel!

I am nearly done with the first sleeve, so I can reasonably predict that this cardi will be done before the end of 2014.

I started it on November 30, so it will have taken me a month to knit. Given that it is an oversized sweater knit from fingering weight yarn, that’s not too bad. It just seems like I’ve been working on it forever. 🙂

Loki would like you to know that he did not try on the booties I knit, but he did pose for a photo with them.

  1. Hmmm… the booties look smaller than Loki’s paws. Good thing knitting stretches!

  2. Woo! That really does look like a long slog. Good on you!

  3. Darling booties, but Loki looks like he’s indulged in too much catnip!

  4. Perfect pose!!

  5. I think you knit so fast!! Pet Loki for me.

  6. Its beautiful, fingering will give it that nice flow, but oh the time and patience…

  7. Your knitting skills and speed are amazing! Wow, what talent! And Loki is soo adorable!

  8. Lisa MacGregor says:

Beautiful cardigan, lovely booties too. I did laugh at Looki on your last post . Wishing you all the best for 2015

  9. The sweater isn’t really my type, but to my surprise I love it! Beautiful, beautiful work.
And please, is there a pattern for those adorable bootees? They look like they would stay on really well. (And that mint green is gorgeous.)

  10. beautiful sweater and great booties – you amaze me in the amount of knitting you are able to do – happy knitting!
