Sous Sous Progress

It has been a very odd week, with way more snow than we usually have here in the Washington DC area. That coupled with other breaks in the normal routine means that I got the back of Sous sous done.

I have just barely begun the front.

And my little helper is on the job!

  1. Love this pattern! I agree with the mod to not do the vee hemline, like it longer.

  2. I love your “Sous Sous”. You are such a prolific knitter! Wish I could knit as fast! I started Sous Sous about the same time you did — used some Sirdar stash yarn — too textured, so frogged all of it, darn it! I, too, wish Calmer was still available. Loki is a divine kitty.

  3. Boy – that’s a lot of moss stitch. I have 95% of a green moss stitch scarf that has been in time out for *^# yrs. I just could not do another row of it. Maybe it’s been long enough & now I’ll finish it. It is really pretty!

  4. There is nothing like feline support – especially when the feline hair is sure to “complement” the color of the knitted item in progress!

  5. gorgeous! Y’all back East are getting all the cold and snow…Out West, we are having unusually warm and sunny days for the year, not much of a winter at all??

  6. NICE

  7. Barb Rickman says:

I have done more emergency winter knitting this year than I have ever seen. 3 hats, heavy mittens, a sweater coat and a shawl that is almost finished. says that it will be a very cold March. Look out in the south. Snow coming your way. The snow is not over for us in the east either. I guess I had better get another shawl going….
