I finished my Ropewalk sweater the other day. And today I threw it in the washer and dryer, on a delicate cycle. Ta-da!
I knit this from Berroco Indigo yarn, color #6410, a stonewashed blue. After its trip through the washer and dryer it softened up considerably, and did not shrink at all.
The color is much more accurate in the first photo.
I spent most of the weekend working on the Outlander MKAL shawl. No spoiler photos here on the blog, but if you’d like to see mine, you can visit my Ravelry project page. There are photos there.
Now I am working on Boxy, being knit from this:
And Loki is relaxing by the window!
Robewalk is awesome. Can’t wait to see boxy.
Lovely projects! The crag na dun colorway is gorgeous.
This sweater/color will be stunning on you, Wendy.
Your sweater turned out gorgeous…quite lovely. I bet it looks great on.
Are you knitting boxy in the round or seaming?
Beautiful! You must knit like the wind to finish so many lovely projects so quickly!
Our cameras rarely, if ever, capture the real color. Your camera is normally outstanding, so was just having an off second.
Can’t wait to see Boxy. I’m thinking of making one but want to see how yours turns put first. I trust your judgement!!
Beautiful Ropewalk. My kind of sweater.
