My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

I finally, at long last, finished Boxy last week!

I started Boxy on April 19 and finished it on August 19. But I did complete a lot of other projects during that time, including two cardigans, three shawls, a whole bunch of animals and bunny dresses.

To recap, Boxy is knit from Handmaiden Mini Maiden in the Polar Sea colorway on a U.S. size 4 needle. Here’s a close-up of the neckline:

I haven’t tried it on yet, so can’t comment on how I like it at this point.

Next up:

This is Swan’s Island Organic Merino Wool, worsted weight, in the Eucalyptus color. This is what I’m knitting:

That’s Alodia, a hooded scarf designed by Moira Engel that is in the newest edition of the Twist Collective. Stay tuned for more on that!

Loki can’t hardly wait!

  7. Your Boxy looks comfy, and wow what a color! I so want to reach right into the screen and pet Loki’s ears. With two cats, I buy lint rollers by the six-pack, how ’bout you?

  8. I, too, just finished my Boxy. I actually started a different sweater (bottom up) and decided to finish it off with the Boxy pattern. Makes me happy. I plan to get yarn to make another as it is a perfect pull-on for chilly days. I must also report that I am so happy to have found my “Wendy Knits Lace” book! Now if I could only find the sock book!

Did you knit separate pieces or all in the round, and why did you do what you did. Any comments on,this, question?
