We’re in the middle of a holiday weekend here, and that means only one thing: knitting progress!
On Friday I finished Alodia.
It’s not particularly easy to photograph, but I m very happy with it. I used Swans Island Natural Colors Merino Worsted in the Eucalyptus colorway. At first I was unsure of how well the slight variegation in the yarn would work with the fairly complex cable pattern, but I am very happy with the results. It looks like stonewashed jeans, I think!
On to the next project, this being knit from the lovely natural grey Cormo I showed in my last blog post:
This is going to be a jacket of my own design. I love the cables and traveling stitches in this yarn!
Loki has his own ideas about holiday weekends and what they are for.
Beautiful!
Your Alodia is gorgeous! Love the style and color. Loki looks like he is tired of supervising you! LOL
Love the jacket design you are working on! You guys have a nice un-Labor day 🙂
Love your hooded shawl and the beginnings of your new sweater jacket. Do you plan on lining it? Now, as for Loki, he looks like he would like a gentle slow stroking all over his body. Have a great rest of the weekend. M
Loving the cables! They look very crisp and well put together! Grey has been my go to knitting color this season.

that is a beautiful marriage of yarn and design. I can’t wait to see the finished object.
Beautiful project and such a big fluffy boy on his scratcher!;O))
So cute – would love to win it!
I’m still in awe over your kintting skills and speed…you’re amazing. And Loki is soo adorable, he’ll use his charm to win “The Battle of the Third Dresser.” Lol!
