I’ve completed a couple more projects this past week.
First, my Risalire hat, a design by Woolly Wormhead.
Not a great photo, but the hat is a perfect fit and came out looking exactly as I hoped it would. This took 2 skeins of Koigu KPPPM, in colorway 315P.
And I completed a second Pinglewin:
You can never have too many penguins, don’t you think?
Now, I am working on this:
This is Emiliana, a shawl designed by Lisa Hannes. It is a two-color shawl. Here are my two colors:
I am using Madelinetosh Pashmina, which is a bit heavier than the fingering weight called for, so I will get a nice large shawl out of this. My colors are Dusk and Magnolia Leaf.
I like the bit of texture in the solid color section:
I also like Loki’s “Squidgy Face.”
Lovely FOs! Loki is adorable!
After reading your review, I decided to buy the Penguins book. It arrived a few days ago and I immediately found Pinglewin. My husband exclaimed, “Another book!?”, then looked over my shoulder and said Pinglewin was awfully cute.
Love the hat and shawl as well!
Loki is a very soft looking kitty.
Jamie´s last blog post ..I’ve Been Pinned!
Loki is squishing his face up, hoping you will knit him a Pinglewin.
Like this penquin!
I love the Magnolia Leaf colorway! Can’t wait to see the finished project.
Loki’s squidgy face is absolutely wonderful.
Gorgeous!

I have a question for you, something I’ve wondered about. As prolific a knitter as I am, you are way ahead of me, which I applaud. Do you wear all the shawls you knit? I knit so many, wear them a few times, then rediscover them seasons later in my closets, at which time I’ll wear them a few more times. Have you any system for rotating your shawls/scarves, or do you just wear what makes you happy at that moment? Thanks!
