Feelin’ Good

In late 2015, the Feel Good Yarn Company decreed that 2016 would be the Year of the Designer, and I was very flattered to be asked to be a Designer of the Month. Well, my month is June, and you can read a lovely blog post on the Feel Good Yarn Company blog that features a lovely photo of Loki, so for that alone, I encourage you to go read. And check back with their website on June 9 when my pattern will be released!

The winner of my review copy of New Heights in Lace Knitting by Andrea Jurgrau is Nancy D., who has been emailed. Thanks to everyone who left a comment!

Today is June 5 and guess what? I finished my Camp Loopy June project already!

This is a cowl worked in Wollmeise Blend, my own design. I finished it so quickly that I haven’t yet come up with a name for the design.

It’s reversible, and I reversed the colors on the inside, just for fun.

Loki sez:

Momma bought my kitty couch from Amazon — it’s here.

  1. What a terrific looking cowl! Color placement has a big impact on how I view the design: the top photo looks like dots and zigzag lines on a green background to me, while the bottom photo looks like a lattice with green peeking through. What are the dimensions and how much yarn did you use?

  3. The cowl is lovely. Is that double knit? I’ve never tried that technique.Look forward to a pattern!

  8. Congratulations! Tell Loki that Miss Meowple sends her greetings from the humans’ couch she has claimed as her own 🙂

  9. Lovely design and reversible, too: That’s a combination that’s difficult to resist!

  10. Great design.

I did go over to the blog site of Feel Good Yarn and read the article about you. I love the story about you taking your tricycle apart with a screw driver at age 4.

  11. Patricia says:
