The End of August

Well this month has really zipped by quickly!

Here’s my new colorwork project again. It has a nice Art Deco-y panel in the center back.

And the rest of it is a smaller all-over motif.

When I took those photos yesterday, I had just started working with color # 16, so I’ve worked across the whole spectrum of colors I have one time. A milestone

Because it is a bit much to be schlepping to work, I started something else to work on when I have time during lunch:

Not much yet! Anyone know what this is? It should be pretty easy to figure out. But the yarn is very special . . .

Loki knows!

  1. Are you sticking with Hitchhiker or moving on to Hitchhiker Beyond? Or maybe I’m completely wrong!

  2. But – he’s not tellin’ . . . .

  3. I also vote for Hitchhiker on the lunch project.

The Insanity Colorwork project is stunning. 16 colors is the whole Crayola box. Amazing.

  4. Sophy0075 says:

    Hitchin’ along, methinks!

  5. Hitchhiker!

  6. I think it is Hitchhiker also! Beautiful colors!

  7. I’m sure it’s Hitchhiker Beyond, that new upside down Hitchhiker from Martina Behm.

  8. Either hitchhiker or hitchhiker beyond

  9. Another vote for hitchhiker. Love the new project!

  10. I think it is Hitchhiker and I am halfway through Martina’s Trillian!! Love the colourwork project but ultimately, the winner is Loki ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Shirley Gallagher says:

hitchhiker beyond is my vote also

  12. Both of these projects have such lovely colors. The second one reminds me of your beautiful Lucy.

And, oh dear, now that I know about it, of course I want to knit Hitchhiker Beyond to go with my Hitchhiker. Thanks to everyone for the public service announcement. ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. Will your color work piece be make into a pattern at some point in time? It is beyond stunning and makes my fingers itch!

  14. Lovely colorwork and a nice Hitchiker. I am working n #s3 & 4 Hitchiker’s and wondered how it would look striped.
