My current work in progress:

Stornoway, designed by Alice Starmore from her book Fishermen’s Sweaters, knit in Frangipani 5-ply guernsey wool in the Aran colorway, on a 3.0mm needle.

It Grows

My big at-home colorwork project is growing. See?

I am a couple of inches away from the start of the armholes. I am doing a simple drop-shoulder design so I’ll insert steeks and keep on knitting.

Loki can barely contain his excitement!

  1. Wow! It looks like a sunbeam falling across stained glass. Beautiful!

  2. Marilyn F. says:

It is absolutely beautiful. Wonderful color combinations and value changes. Looks like a very small gauge. Happy knitting.

  3. Wonderful! That is turning out so lovely, and you’re going so fast! I hope you’re feeling an appropriate amount of pride and satisfaction in your design and execution. It’s fabulous.

  4. I think it’s so cute how excited Loki gets about your knitting 😉
(Seriously, that’s more excited than my husband gets!)

  5. It is absolutely stunning! And so is Loki!

  6. Beautiful! Sunlight on clematis.
