My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

My internet connection was out all day until just a little while ago, so this blog post is rather late. But better late than never.

Here is the back of Aspen, just a few rows from shoulder shaping. I ought to be able to finish it tonight!

And here is what I did today.

A 1940s style dress for the little redheaded doll. I love the fabric — it looks nice with her red hair.

This is a somewhat rude photo, but I wanted to show you that the dress has an attached petticoat and that I made her panties, too!

Here is what Loki did for most of the day!

  1. Beautiful cable stitches! That is going to be amazing. The doll clothes are too cute! Boy, does that bring back memories of sewing doll clothes with my grandma. And Loki is SO much help ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Wow- your knitting and sewing are both beautiful. You’ve been as busy as Loki has been…. ah, *restful*.

  3. Barbara Archie says:

Wendy, your knitting and sewing God-given talents are not only amazing but mind boggling!

  4. Beautiful cables, beautiful doll, beautiful ragdoll! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. Your sweater is shaping up beautifully, as always, and the charming little red-headed doll has undoubtedly never been better dressed!

  6. I didn’t know you sewed till your last post. I’m just getting back into sewing too.
I see Loki’s out of his bag, at least for a bit.

The doll dress is adorable. I love the petticoat and the panties. Loki looks relaxed.
