Rainy Sunday

After a spell of very hot, horribly humid days, we are now entering a spell of chilly rainy days, with the threat of a hurricane at the end of the week. Quite a change from last week! I’m happy to see cooler days amd as long as I’m indoors, I love the rain. Good knitting weather!

I am nearing the end of the second quadrant of my Rose Cardi — still 50-some rows to go.

But today I have something else I need to work on ao I’ll set it aside for a day. It’s taking me a week and then some to knit a quadrant so I still have quite a way to go on this. I’m not in any particular hurry though, so that’s okay.

My little helper is ready and waiting for me to settle down on the couch so he can snuggle in next to me.

  1. Love the colour on that cardigan!

  2. Ooh, that’s GORGEOUS!

  3. Oooh! That is SO ‘my’ colors! Just gorgeous!! It does scare me a little though. I’ve promised to knit one for my daughter and I want one for myself… and if it’s taking you a week to knit a quadrant, that probably means close to 3 weeks for me…. I may be knitting nothing but Rose Cardigan for the rest of my life.

  4. Oh ys, I echo everyone’s love of that color! Sure hope the storm weakens! Sadiecat says :”Hi Loki.”
