My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

Lots of Ribbing on the Horizon

Good news! I have finished and blocked all the body pieces of my Rose Cardi!

Now, the finishing. First up was the center back seam — a three-needle bind-off worked on the right side to give a raised seam:

This afternoon I’ll be seaming the fronts to the back and starting on the miles of ribbing.

With the help of my little supervisor, of course.

  1. What a beautiful blue-green combo and nice interplay, no pooling!

  2. Dorothy in Kentucky says:

Stunning colours and you have a great supervisor

  3. Beautiful!

Loki looks like he needs his winter floof to grow in!!

  4. Your little supervisor looks so sleepy! The colours of your cardi are lovely.

  5. Charlottewv says:

Beautiful, I love the colors, and Loki is such a good supervisor!!

  6. Do you have a few favorite shops in the DC area, or someone online who makes good choices for you? I’d like to try a Rose Cardi, but there is only one independent yarn shop that I know of in the Baltimore-Columbia area.
