My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

Side Pieces

Here’s the first of four, count ‘erm four, side pieces that need to be knit for the body of Mary Tudor.

I’m, now working on the second on the four side pieces.

After that, there are four lace panels to knit for the body, then the sleeve pieces — three for each sleeve. Then of course the neck band and bottom bands.

Yeah, that’s all. 😉

  1. Wendy, what is the object of so many back pieces ? It is truly beautiful! Your knitting ability surpasses any I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot. Take care! xo

  2. Sharen Warren says:

    Love the thistles!

  3. Are the sides two fronts and two backs? This sweater is a real commitment! Can’t wait to see it finished

  4. Wow!

    Toe fluff!

  5. Judy Morin says:

But where can I find the pattern? Did I miss something? I’ve had a lot of company recently and haven’t paid much attention to emails>

  6. That’s a lot of knitting…. and seaming. It will be beautiful when you’re finished though.
