I finished my Mary Tudor cardigan yesterday:

I purchased the kit for this from Virtualyarns.com — it is knit from Alice Starmore’s 2-ply Hebridean on a 3.25mm needle.
I love the mitred corners at the bottom hem:

I found a pretty vintage button on etsy to use for this:

As you can see, Loki is exhausted from helping me with this project.

Oh my, that is a beautiful piece of art – congratulations.
It’s beautiful , Wendy!! It looks like a Tapestry. Waiting to see what’s next!! You have a very Merry Christmas and great New Year!! xo
Lovely!
Really impressive and beautiful, like a tapestry in France.
Stunning!
Oh, Loki, your Mommy does such beautiful work! Lovely!
Merry Christmas to you both from me and my fur babies, Archie and Victoria
Beyond gorgeous! I agree with Linnell – it does look like a tapestry. Merry Christmas and a well-deserved rest.
It is absolutely beautiful. And Loki well he is a love!! Merry Christmas to you and yours
So, tell us: Did you steek the top of the sleeves? Or did you weave in a lot of ends? Inquiring minds want to know …
So beautiful!
Gorgeous! And so is that fluffy kitty!
What wonderful work. It is stunning!
I too am anxious to know how you did the sleeve. Steek or no steek. that is the question.
That is a stunning piece of work and you should be very proud. Hope you and the KOARC enjoy a wonderful Christmas and a safe and Happy Holiday
so gorgeous! congrats
just wondering: am I the only one looking at the Tudor roses & fleur de lis & thinking, “shouldn’t this be Margaret Tudor?”
Oh my gosh, that is a stunning sweater. I can see how it might have exhausted Loki. Hopefully some cold days will arrive so you can wear it!
The Mary tutor sweater is so beautiful it belongs in a museum!
Hope you have a wonderful holiday. I can’t wait to see what your next project is.
So fabulous, so inspiring!
That’s just stunning, Wendy! (And I’m glad to see that Loki still likes his little basket.) 🙂
OMG, it’s gorgeous. You did such a terrific job. Wanna raffle it off??
Absolutely stunning!
WOW. This is absolutely gorgeous. Have a Great and joyful Holiday Season and a Very Happy New Year.
Always love your work and this is no exception.
Happy Holidays
The Mary Tudor cardigan is even more beautiful than I’d imagined it would be. If only little Loki didn’t have to work so hard to help you with your projects, LOL! Happy Holidays!
Bravo. Tapestry is the word. PERFECT BUTTON (love it when that happens).
Hello Wendy, Really great, the harmony of colors and the model is very beautiful. Good luck.

Your sweater is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your progress!
That is so beautiful. I’ve had my eye on this pattern for a few years and watching you knit it has encouraged me to buy the kit. I’ve never knitted in the round before, so really looking forward to the challenge. Thanks for being so inspiring. xxx
