My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

Lace and Texture

After a couple of fair isle projects, I’ve started a one-color project:

This is Cornflower, a pattern from Marie Wallin, from her Meadow pattern collection. I’m knitting mine with this:

Yummy Cormo from Sincere Sheep. The color in the skein is far more accurate than the color of the WIP. I purchased this yarn from Mason-Dixon Knitting at the end of December when they had a sale. I bought it for a cardigan pattern, but after starting it, I just wasn’t liking it, so frogged and restarted this. A much better fit!

Loki agrees.

  1. That is really pretty. Might have to swatch it in some Wollmeise from the stash.

  2. Barbara Anna says:

No idea how you complete all of these beautiful projects….!!!! Amazing….

  3. Christiane says:

Loki should have his own needles now and help you. Well maybe not. I admire this beautiful pattern. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Wendy , what size needle are you using for this sweater? The yarn looks like worsted weight. It’s very pretty and your knitting looks so even. Another sweater to look forward to see the finish of. xo

  5. I have wanted to try that yarn! Gorgeous color too!

  6. Ooh! Ooh! LOVE this new sweater!

  7. Barbara Runcie says:

Beautiful Yarn! (In both pics LOL)
